April Fool's Day History

April 1st is coming up and that means it's going to be April Fool's Day.

Ever wonder where the tradition of playing jokes on people on April Fool's Day came from?

There are several theories on the origin of April Fool's Day including:

The event was related to the arrival of Spring.

The event was related to the change in the 1500's moving the start of the new calendar year to January 1st.
